Gschwandegger, Aaron

Aaron Gschwandegger was born in Jonesboro, Arkansas, but has spent much of his life moving around the nation before returning back to his birth state in the fall of 2009. He was born to a father who was an immigrant from Austria and a mother who had been raised on a farm in eastern Arkansas. His many moves have taken him to states such as Virginia, Texas, Utah, Nebraska, and New York. His college education was completed from attending the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City as well as the University of Nebraska and Bellevue University. Much of Aaron’s artistic endeavors have been largely learned outside of the classroom, but he had also taken many art studies classes while attending college. The ever changing and never ending inspirations found in nature is where Aaron draws much of his inspiration. Living in the foothills of the Ozarks, Aaron makes digital photography of Arkansas, and also incorporates some of his images into wooden art pieces and decorative furniture.
