Sue Lukens has used her interest in sustainable living and a love of herbs and medicinal plants to develop a line of fine handmade soaps, bath salts, and herbal remedies to pamper and soothe the body. Her simple soaps are made with extra olive oil and an infusion of chamomile and calendula flowers that provide a natural creamy color. Lavender and patchouli are her favorite essential oils for soaps and bath salts to relax tired bodies. For those who prefer the absolute basics, she also makes a plain and mild white soap. Also available, her natural insect repellant with a citrus/mint aroma is effective against all kinds of bugs, made from 9 essential oils. Together with Raymond Creasy they write and produce their own Americana music and appear occasionally at Gravity BrewWorks, Big Flat.
